Hasn't she always been here?
Besides the obvious language differences, she is just a part of the family. She and Scarlett race around on the plasma cars together, they play for hours in the bath tub (both girls love water!), they bicker and argue and hug each other. Finn is the best snuggler. What a darling. When she hurts herself or just needs comfort, over to Momma she comes. What a blessing. And only a month home.
She is letting me rock her at night and no longer needs to be moving, she now snuggles in completely. She is trying all the foods I put in front of her and broadening her taste buds. Her favorites are still bananas, yogurt, eggs and fried rice, but she now likes corn and broccoli salad.
We had our one month post placement visit today and our SW was amazed at her comfort level. Sometimes we are too.
We also had our first home study visit today for our next trip to China. Hopefully we'll be doing that in October or November. Prayers that everything runs smoothly and the finances flow. This will be our last time heading over there and so it would be nice if this one wasn't as "painful" as the others...
Sadly I hear God laughing at me right now......
