Of a humble birth...

We are all of humble birth. We are all not worthy of God and yet he sent his son to save us from ourselves because he loves us so much. All of us.
We are all sinners. No matter how big or small, we all sin. And he knows this and loves us anyway. How many of us really think about that, take the time to think about what that means? How many of us send our children to war to protect those who speak out against war and the military? And how many people spoke up when Christ was crucified? Why do we keep protecting those who would harm us if given the chance? Because it's what Jesus would do. It's what Jesus did. 

My children get tired of me asking them if "Jesus would do that?"  They get tired of it because they know what he would and wouldn't do. It isn't always the easy thing to do, but it's the right thing.

He was born of a humble beginning and he became extraordinary. We are all born from humble beginnings. Will we, too, attempt to be extraordinary?  All it takes is one person to make a change, a difference. One humble person. One big difference.
